iRiver H10

Sat Jun 18, 2005, 10:17 PM
I finally got my iRiver H10 6GB almost a week ago and I am quite happy with it, and for nearly $300USD. I should be. The quality of the music all depends on the quality of the music I transfer to it and the way I tweak my equalizer. (Heh as I type this I'm watching Le Mans 24hr) The photo viewer was tested with one of my very own works. (The Sun Incarnate) The color is astounding for such a small and not very sophisticated screen.(260,000 TFT LCD btw) I haven't gotten around to the TEXT viewer since I really have no use for it but the FM radio is suprisingly superb for it being just an MP3 player. Depending on how you position the device it picks up FM stations just as well as any other vehicle you drive everyday. Of course it picks it up very well as they claim the headphone jack has a built-in antenna, this is so you don't have to look like an idiot holding your mp3 player in the air to pick up a station clearly. Another feature I personally like is the the H10 can record whatever you are currently listening to on the FM radio. It has settings for low, medium, and high quality recording. Set at high the quality is reasonably well, again, for just an MP3 player. I would definetly recommend this for your next MP3 player, and if you think 6GB is too much for your taste you can go with the H10 5GB or go search [link] for their other models with 256MB and 512MB capacities.

I'd give it a 9.0 out of 10.

I'll hopefully get shots by the end of my school year when I graduate. New digicam as a graduation gift. :)
